The Bible Way To Heaven

Could you say you are 100% certain that you will go to heaven when you die? If not, you will find the following truths helpful in understanding this important subject. These truths are taken from the Holy Bible.

1. We all have sinned.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

God's word tells us that we all have sinned. The word sin means to transgress (the willful or deliberate violation of moral principle or standard). At one time or another we all have willfully and deliberately chosen to disobey God.

2. Sin has a penalty.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

A wage is a payment. The payment for your sin is death and separation from God in a place the Bible calls hell. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:14

3. Jesus Paid the Penalty.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

The word commendeth means proved. God proved His love for you by giving His own Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for your sins.

4. Believe on Jesus Now.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

To believe on Jesus Christ as Saviour means to believe that he died for you, paid the price for your sin and that He is the only way to heaven. You can express your belief on Jesus by calling Him in prayer

5. Pray this Sincerely.

"Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, I believe that you died on the cross and paid the penalty for my sin. I believe that you rose from the dead. I repent of my sin, please forgive my sin and come into my heart and save me. Thank you for giving me eternal life. In Jesus name Amen"
